Diablo Immortal’s Destruction’s Wake Update Is Live With A New Zone And New Baddies

Today marks the arrival of Diablo Immortal’s biggest update to date as the mobile ARPG celebrates its 1st anniversary. Dubbed Destruction’s Wake, the update opens up a new zone, a new difficulty, new challenges, and several major gameplay updates, among others.

The highlight of the update is the introduction of the Ancients' Cradle zone, which offers eight new quests and fresh threats to overcome. As players dive into this zone, they’ll face off against formidable adversaries that will put their skills to the test.

To further amp up the challenge, Diablo Immortal unveils the Inferno difficulty. This new tier of difficulty features multiple challenge tiers where players will go up against a new set of bosses called the Hearthrot Demons. These fearsome foes can also be encountered within the Helliquary Gauntlet, providing a nail-biting experience for adventurers.

Inferno difficulty not only adds new bosses to take on but also unlocks the highly anticipated combat stances feature. All classes will have the ability to choose between offense and defense stances, each offering unique ive bonuses, gear loadouts, and gem sockets. This strategic addition enhances gameplay diversity and allows players to customize their approach.

In addition to these exciting features, the update introduces three new legendary gems, enriching character progression and offering new possibilities for power and customization. Furthermore, players can look forward to limited-time PvE and PvP events, the return of previous events, and the revival of the recruit-a-friend program, providing additional incentives for cooperative play.
