KWAAN Overview
The world will end through a flooding of the tree god KWAAN's tears unless players work together to keep KWAAN happy. KWAAN is a sandbox game where players are not pitted against each other, but rather players are challenged to unite to quell the tree god by performing various rituals each day. Rituals include summoning creatures and growing fruit through drawing pixel art, dancing for KWAAN, crafting items, and discovering new places. Explore different areas as a sapling that cannot jump and thus must use a rope to reach platforms. Share one pool of mana with all players in a server, which is the resource needed to perform certain actions for rituals. Complete different requests of KWAAN as a community to have the tree god grow and unlock the next chapter of the game's story.

The game aims to promote a different kind of MMO atmosphere, where players are not pitted against each other but are encouraged to work together. The game was released for Early Access through Valve's Steam service in March 2011. KWAAN was officially released in January 2016. The game was shut down on November 30, 2017.
