Krosmaga Overview
Krosmaga is a skillful strategy game in which players summon heroes from the Wakfu and Dofus universe to battle on a lane-based playing field. Play as one of the 12 gods of Krosmaga, each with their own set of unique cards of minions and spells, with their own tactical approaches to gameplay. Players summon minions to a lane, and have to get their minion acrosss the field to destroy the opponent's egg-shaped Dofus. But beware: players summon their own warriors and wield magic to halt you in your tracks. Whichever player destroys the other's Dofus's first wins. You can train yourself, learning what cards to summon when and how, by playing against the AI or gallivanting through dungeons. When you're ready, challenge other players in either unranked or ranked play, and show off your skills. Collect an ever-growing catalog of new cards, customize your own decks, and wage war as one of Krosmaga's gods.

Development History / Background:
Krosmaga is developed and published by Ankama, a French entertainment company also known for titles such as Dofus and Wakfu. Krosmaga entered Closed Beta testing for both PC and Mac devices on October 11, 2016, and was available to test in either French or English, followed by Open Beta which began on December 12, 2016. The game officially released on February 22, 2017, and premiered for both Android and iOS mobile devices on the same day. Krosmaga was then added to Steam on April 12, 2017. The game is also available on Mac. Given that Krosmaga was never particularly popular, Ankama has neglected the game and hasn't released a major update since June 30, 2020.
