Throne And Liberty KR Showcases Its First Siege Event In An Action-Packed Highlight Reel

NCSoft has dropped a highlight reel that shows off the Throne and Liberty Korean version’s first large-scale siege event earlier this month. More than 1,000 guilds and over 15,000 players participated in the inaugural battle for Stonegard Castle which took place over three days across ten servers.

Stonegard Castle is a key location in the fantasy MMORPG’s narrative and is the only place in the game where players will find epic gear crafters. Winning control of the castle during these scheduled sieges will grant the controlling guild a 2% commission on all vendor and market transactions within the castle, including all crafting jobs.

As shown in the highlight reel, siege golems played a big part in the massive battle and proved to be extremely useful in destroying the castle walls, getting players over it, and raining chaos down on the castle defenders. Gliders were also put to good use during the siege, offering a quick way to get around and bring reinforcements to where they’re needed.

On the subject of reinforcements, maintaining control of respawn points was one of the key strategies to securing victory. The respawn point located in the central pathway to the castle was one of the most highly contested zones during the entire siege as it gave the fallen a faster route back into the action.
