The Crew 2 Enters Maintenance Mode With The Release Of Its Mad Vol. 2 Update
Multiplayer racing game The Crew 2 officially went into maintenance mode with the release of its final content update earlier this week. “[…] After 6 years of live service, Mad Vol.2 will be the final update to bring new content to The Crew 2,” Ubisoft announced.
The update introduced new Mad Skills, challenges, and rewards with the new Hobby Stunt Performer 2. Players will also be able to add the new Maserati Ghibli, Maserati Levante Trofeo, Mazda RX7 Evo Group B Rally Cross cars to their collection and create unique plane and boat races using the latest version of the Race Creator.
“Discover new stunt events, new vehicles and major improvements added to the Race Creator tool, now letting you create your dream races even with boats and planes! [...] Road, water, and skies of The Crew 2 now await the most creative players, for them to share their own races with the community and put others to the test.”
Meanwhile, The Crew 1 is now running on fumes and counting down the weeks and days until Ubisoft finally shuts it down on March 31. The Crew 2, however, looks like it still has some gas left in the tank and will remain online until Ubisoft eventually decides to send it to the scrapyard. For now, there’s still a host of new content for players to enjoy.
