Terraria’s Final Major Update ‘Journey’s End’ Officially Launched Over The Weekend
Terraria update, aptly-named Journey’s End, officially launched last Saturday bringing with it a number of new game modes and features. The new Journey Mode gives players more control over the 2D sandbox game’s gameplay and allows players to adjust the game’s difficulty, change the time and weather, duplicate items, and research everything in the game. Master Mode increases the game’s difficulty in exchange for a variety of exclusive items. And finally, Golf Mode which lets you play golf in obstacle-littered courses.
“This update has been a labor of love, tirelessly worked on by our team over a good while, and we truly feel that it brings Terraria to the next level, to a place where the core game can finally be called ‘complete’. From new ways to play the game to over 1000 new items to find and craft to new bosses to challenge and even a full- review of all content of the game for balance, graphic quality, and mechanics - truly, Journey's End has something for everyone.”
The update also adds the Block Swap feature, player emotes, new world interactions, and new mini-biomes. In addition, the developers have also added official for tModLoader, a popular fan-made modding tool.
