Temtem Subreddit Temporarily Locked Down Due To Toxicity Over Temtem Swarm
The uproar over Temtem Swarm has escalated to a point where Crema Games-appointed s were forced to temporarily lock down the Temtem subreddit over the weekend due to toxicity.
“This community has ended up becoming a very toxic environment for players, mods, and potential new who‘d like to it,” the s said. “After a long consideration on the future of this Subreddit, the s have decided to lock it for a short period of time to review the mistakes they and we might have made in the past, and to create an improved, new space for you, Tamers.”
The subreddit reopened yesterday with an FAQ where the Crema Games maintains that they’re still working on the main game and that more updates are in the pipeline, just don’t expect new content. The studio also walked back the game’s MMO label, saying that Temtem is and was always meant to be an MMO-lite.
Meanwhile, Temtem’s player numbers continue to drop, peaking at just 465 players. Not that it had a large playerbase to start with, since it only logged an all-time high of 39,572 players to start with.
