Temtem Takes Players Back To A ‘Long-Lost Era’ As Its New Frozen Tales Season Begins
Temtem has kicked off a brand-new competitive season with the release of Patch 1.6 earlier today. Dubbed Frozen Tales, the latest season offers new winter-themed content that takes players back to the critter-collecting MMO’s version of the Ice Age.
“The slight chill in the air has now turned into a full-blown blizzard, and we the old glacial times. Frozen Tales will take you back in time to a long lost era when primeval humans and Temtem roamed a bare Archipelago. Prepare to connect with ancestral deities and to walk in old footsteps!”
As with previous seasons, Frozen Tales comes with a new Tamer and a collection of new free and cosmetics. It also marks the game’s first event-free season after developer Crema Games decided to scrap in-game events entirely when they failed to live up to player expectations.
The new season begins alongside a whole host of new quality-of-life features and improvements, That includes the addition of an emote wheel, the ability to watch PvP match replays, and an update to invdividual Temtem details screens that shows information on where a specific creature was caught, regardless of whether you’re the original tamer or not.
The remainder of the patch is dedicated to various balance adjustments made to PvP, including tweaks to stamina regeneration and several Tem attacks. The official patch notes offers a detailed rundown of the changes.
Patch 1.6 is NOW LIVE! Prepare to face a cold that’s old as time in this new season!
