Star Wars The Old Republic Devs Working To Resolve Stubborn 64-Bit Crashing Issue

It’s a good thing that BioWare decided to publicly test its new Star Wars The Old Republic 64-bit client before it launched because testers are apparently finding lots of problems with the build. Since testing started in December, players have reported numerous issues, including lag spikes, graphical glitches, and persistent crashing, which the studio is still actively trying to resolve.

The developers have rolled out two patches to address the crashing issues over the past three weeks, apparently to no avail. Testers are still reporting frequent crashes although they’ve reported significant improvements to load times and the client’s overall performance. While it’s not cause for celebration just yet, the team seems to be moving a step forward in the right direction.

Meanwhile, Season 3 is well underway with new rewards up for grabs such as the Sniper Rifle, Special Lightsaber, the Czerka Special Blaster, and the Unique Czerka Special Weapon Set.
