Star Wars The Old Republic s the sci-fi community once again in celebrating May the Fourth, a.k.a. Star Wars Day, with free droids for everyone! This year also happens to mark the 25th year since Episode I: The Phantom Menace first came out and Broadsword didn’t up the opportunity to give a nod to the first of the prequel trilogy films.
In line with the movie’s 25th anniversary, this year’s SWTOR Star Wars Day giveaway is the boxy BX-24 droid inspired by Darth Maul, minus the dual wield lightsabers. Players can claim the free mini-pet by logging in from now until May 16. They’ll also enjoy double XP gains and big discounts on cash shop items throughout the Star Wars Day event.
