Sea Of Thieves Delays Season 10 By Two Months Due To Development Challenges
Sea of Thieves is currently on track to set the record for its longest season ever as Season 9 approaches its five-month mark. Unfortunately, it looks like the season will be dragging on a bit longer as developer Rare announces a delay in the release of Season 10.
The team says that they need more time to put together all of the promised content for the next season and have decided to push it back to October 19th. “After careful consideration, we firmly believe that it’s the best thing to do for the quality of the release, the sustainability of our development process and the wellbeing of our team,” Rare announced. “While we know delays are disappointing, out team needs a little more time to get this substantial new update ready for you.”
This means that succeeding season will also be pushed back, although the team promised to release part of Season 11’s content partway through Season 10. You can learn more about the team’s plans in the new developer update video below.
