Sea Of Thieves Kicks Off New Limited-Time Adventure ‘A Dark Deception’
Rare has cooked up a new Sea of Thieves limited-time adventure that will send players off another treasure hunt, as is the case for most pirate adventures. The new adventure, called A Dark Deception, is now live and revolves around the search for a powerful object that was stolen from the Pirate Lord.
“Embark on a mission of utmost secrecy and help a prominent pirate reclaim a stolen object of great power in our latest Adventure, ‘A Dark Deception,’” announced Rare on Twitter. “Speak to Larinna, accept the call and track down the missing possession between now and July 6th.”
Based on the adventure’s title, players can probably expect some backstabbing, and possibly a surprise twist as they progress through the questline. There’s really not much to go on, but the team did offer tidbits of information in this preview blog post and in the new trailer below.
