Runewaker's Guardians Of Ember Launching On Steam In September

InselGames announced yesterday that it will be publishing Runewaker's latest, an ARPG called Runes of Magic, the former of which shut down here in the Americas late last year (a European server remains open).

Guardians of Ember is intended to be a "classic hack and slash experience." It offers "enormous hordes of enemies" to cut down and "exciting boss battles," as well as crafting, enchanting, and housing systems. Both PvE and PvP modes are available. Players can even dual class after level 15.

The full set of features is as follows.

  • dual class system: choose a second class after reaching level fifteen
  • nearly unlimited character optimization: a total of four races, six classes, 300 active and seventy-two  ive skills
  • extended PvE action: randomized dungeons with individual difficulty settings
  • deep crafting and enchanting systems: design your perfect equipment
  • housing system: decorate your own home with hundreds of interior items and hire house sprites for bonuses
  • engaging questline with over hundreds of missions plus daily missions
  • various PVP options: fight in 1vs1, 3vs3, 5vs5 - ranked and unranked matches

Guardians of Ember will be released on Steam in September. An exact release date has yet to be announced.

Additionally, if you bought the Collector's Edition or Deluxe Edition of the "Hack'n'Slash Fantasy MMORPG" that you will be receiving for free. All other owners of Trinium Wars and recipients of free keys for the game will be given a 25% discount on Guardians of Ember.
