PlanetSide 2 Is Shutting Down In Korea

Daum Games, publishers of Free-to-Play MMOFPS, PlanetSide 2, are planning on shutting down Korean operations due to a lack of players and interest. While the game is still moving strong in other regions, with a recent launch onto the Playstation 4 for the NA region just yesterday, one can speculate that this may have to do with the differing gaming climates and cultures in Korea.   The game is still currently playable in Korea with the shutdown scheduled for July 21st.
