Palworld Touts 19 Million Players To Date As Launch Rush Begins To Die Down

While the mad scramble to get into Palworld has begun to wind down, the game still boasts an impressive daily peak of well over a million players. Steam sales have also slowed down, as it falls to the #2 spot on Steam’s top-selling games list after over a week in the top spot. It’s still the most-played game on the platform though, hundreds of thousands of players ahead of Counter-Strike 2 which sits comfortably in second place.

According to developer Pocket Pair’s latest report, more than 19 million players have played the viral creature-collecting multiplayer survival MMO since its early access launch two weeks ago – 12 million on Steam and 7 million on Xbox. That doesn’t include those playing through Xbox Game and it’s not doing too shabby there either.

Microsoft recently announced that Palworld has taken the crown as the Game service’s biggest third-party launch to date and the most-played third-party game on the Xbox Cloud Gaming service.

It’ll be interesting to see how much of Palworld’s massive playerbase remains once the dust has settled and the launch rush has truly died down. Unfortunately for PlayStation s, it’s likely that the game won’t ever make it to the platform considering that Pocket Pair’s other game, Craftopia, has remained exclusive to PC and Xbox nearly four years after its launch.
