Once Human Kicks Off Third Closed Beta Test On PC With A Character Creation Deadline

Once Human has reopened its post-apocalyptic world to testers once again as the multiplayer survival shooter kicks off its third closed beta test. Testers will fight for their survival once again as they build homes and bases, scavenge for resources, and protect them against other players as they explore a world overrun by mutated monsters.

CBT 3 was originally scheduled for March but was pushed back to ensure a “smoother and more immersive experience.” The short delay seems to have paid off as the latest build now sports a boatload of improvements over the last beta build, including new dungeons and weapons, an expanded pet system, survival and crafting adjustments, and the new, aptly named Eternaland area where players will be able to build to their heart’s content in-between the official game seasons.

Unfortunately for mobile players, the closed beta is currently only available on PC after developer Starry Studio decided to postpone the mobile playtest to give them more time to polish the mobile build. The studio didn’t say how long the beta test will run for, but it’s giving testers until 4 p.m. PST on April 4 to create a character, otherwise they’ll need an activation code to get in. They also didn’t say where to get an activation code, but it’s probably best to create a character now so you won’t have to jump through any extra hoops in the future.
