Fortnite Launches JokeNite Comedy Island In Partnership With The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah
Over the years, Fortnite has hosted its fair share of live in-game concerts featuring big-name artists like Ariana Grande, Eminem, Travis Scott, and Marshmello. Now it’s opening the doors to an in-game comedy island that will feature motion-captured performances from popular stand-up comedians and produced by no other than The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah.
“Jump into JokeNite produced by Trevor Noah and experience stand-up comedy like never before!” Epic Games announced. “Vote for your choice between four fully motion-captured performances from Matthew Broussard, Marcia Belsky, Scott Seiss and Preacher Lawson to get your giggles going, or watch a mega-cut of them all!”
Up to eight players can the JokeNite instance to watch the show from a virtual seat or in TV mode which mimics a televised stand-up comedy show. It looks to be a permanent addition to the game that will exist inside the Fortnite multiverse alongside LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Racing, and Fortnite Festival, as well as Fortnite Disney (?) at some point in the future.
