Episode 42: Legion Of Doom Is Now Live In DC Universe Online

Lex Luthor and his Legion of Doom have resurfaced in DC Universe Online with the release of Episode 42. The free episode is now live featuring new Doomed Washington D.C. open world missions, the new Umbrax the Violet Duo encounter, the Sixth Dimension raid, the One Who Waits alert, new gear and Feats, and more.

“Led by Lex Luthor, the Legion of Doom is resurgent, threatening Washington D.C., the world, and the Multiverse. In service to Perpetua, there has perhaps never been a greater threat. But you have been training – heroes and villains – in The Monitor’s House of Legends, and now is your time. Stand before this terror, together, or fade into the aether of non-existence forever. Legion of Doom features new daily and weekly Open World missions, with normal and elite versions of a Duo, Alert, and Raid. For a limited time, special event versions of all content in Legion of Doom will be available to all players level 15+ as well! Look for these Event versions in the On Duty menu.”

Larfleeze is also back for this year’s winter event and it’s up to you to recover the gifts he stole from Metropolis and Gotham City. Both Heroes and Villains can also earn Holly Leaves by completing the “Season’s Greedings” and “Ring in the Holidays” missions each day for the duration of the event. Holly Leaves can be used to purchase various items, armor styles, and sodas from Skeet’s Workshop.
