Elite Dangerous: Horizons Hits Xbox One June 3rd, The Engineers Hits PC May 26th, More
Frontier Developments announced an assortment of news about its space simulator Elite Dangerous today, as three releases and a price drop will be happening in the next month. On June 3rd, the Horizons season of expansions will be launching on Xbox One. When it launches on June 3rd, it will contain both the Planetary Landings and The Engineers.
The Engineers will be launching on PC on May 26th. The update will add several NPCs called Engineers, which may or may not decide to give you access to their unique weapons and modules depending on your actions in-game.
On May 26th, Elite Dangerous will also be receiving its largest free update yet. The update will introduce "a new mission system, collectable loot, and hundreds of gameplay additions and tweaks." You can find the full patch notes here.
Additionally, starting today, the cost of the Horizons season of expansions has dropped to $29.99. The Elite Dangerous Commander Deluxe Edition now costs $59.99.
