Elektra Becomes Marvel Heroes' 57th Playable Character

Gazillion has announced that a new character has entered the fray in Marvel Heroes: Elektra. Called "one of the Marvel Universe’s most dangerous assassins," Elektra uses her sai, rope dart, shurikens, and more to attack. Her abilities include one called Marked for Death that "debuffs powerful enemies while buffing herself."

Gazillion Senior Game Designer Michael May explained that the team wanted Elektra to feel like "a true assassin" in the following quote.

We opted for a more target-selection mechanic to represent Elektra's assassination skills rather than basing her strictly around stealth, to differentiate her from other assassins in the game. She does have stealth mechanics, but her gameplay is mostly driven around finding high-value targets, marking them, then taking them out.

Marvel Heroes' rendition of Elektra is voiced by Kat Cressida. Players can choose between her "classic red costume" and an alternate costume based on her the way she is dressed in Daredevil Season 2.
