Edengrad Gears Up For Alpha

In the latest developer update, Huckleberry Games states that the team is putting "110% effort" towards getting Edengrad's Alpha ready by the original deadline. The team is feeling the pressure of its time constraints, but it is noted that it is working at a steady pace regardless.

The post also details some of the changes that are going into the game by Alpha. The mob code has been almost entirely rewritten. As a result, the server runs more efficiently and several new features have been made possible. Mobs can now fight each other, "adopt properties of a personal guard," such as following the player around and fighting what they are fighting, and have multiple attack types. Land mines can now work on mobs.

Ammo has been added to all firearms and shields will be in the game.

Ragdoll animations have been introduced and players can look forward to layered animations and bone rotations based on the way the player is facing.
