Edengrad Launches On Steam Early Access

Edengrad is a bit different than the average game we cover. The new post-apocalyptic MMO is looking to combine traditional survival game gameplay with MMORPG elements. Players will have to hunt, build shelter, and keep fed and hydrated, as in other survival games, but the game takes place in a persistent world with quests, faction-based warfare, and more.

One of the more interesting features listed on the Steam store page is the settlement system. Players can establish settlements that other players can settle in by buying parcels of land from the settlement's leader or being gifted one. Those that settle there are then "obligated to pay taxes." If they're not part of the faction that founded the settlement, they have the ability to become citizens of that settlement instead.

Edengrad is now available on Steam Early Access at the price of $12.99, temporarily discounted to $9.74 for the week of launch.
