Dual Universe Adds Tactical Map, New Asteroid Mechanics, And Brings Back Talemai
As promised, Novaquark has made exploring the farthest reaches of the Milky Way in tactical map. The new feature is now live with the release of the space sandbox MMORPG’s Version 1.2 update and can be accessed by players in both the pilot and gunner’s seats, giving them access to more information about their surroundings.
The developers have also reintroduced the planet Talemai which now features a lava-covered surface and three moons. With its return, players can now take on new Talemai missions as well as build new constructs and mine new ore pools on the planet. On the way there, they can check out the new and improved asteroids that now spawn and respawn individually across the galaxy to give players access to more salvaging locations.
The Version 1.2 update also added two new alien cores and applied various adjustments and bug fixes, a full rundown of which can be found in the official release notes. You can also check out the new trailer below for a quick look at the update’s contents.
