Novaquark Breaks Radio Silence To Tease Dual Universe Update 1.4’s New PvE Content

After months of silence, Dual Universe is back with a bang as Novaquark has shared some exciting details about its Update 1.4. The update promises to bring an element of PvE missions to the game, allowing players to fight against NPCs using PvP mechanics.

These missions will come in different difficulty levels, from very easy to very hard. The lower difficulties will be ideal for solo players while higher difficulties will require coordinated teams. The missions will require you to build custom-built ships that match certain parameters based on the level of difficulty and successfully completing them will reward you with Quanta. While penalties for failure are yet to be determined, Novaquark promises they won't be too punishing.

For players who love PvP, the update will also bring some significant changes, such as adjustments to hit and miss calculations, changes to weapon stats, the removal of weapon variant debuffs, and a buff for stasis weapons. Novaquark is also working to address lag issues in PvP to improve the overall experience.

Update 1.4 will also bring back the planets Sicari and Sinnen, both of which will sport several new features and locations. The update will also introduce new alien core units, improvements to the LUA script, and full joystick to make piloting ships much more immersive.

Although we don't have a timeline for the release of Update 1.4, it’s probably a good time to dust off your ships and get ready to take on the new challenges coming soon to Dual Universe.
