Diablo Immortal Rolls Out Terror’s Tide Update Featuring A New Endgame Zone
Terror’s Tide has come rushing in to Diablo Immortal as the multi-platform ARPG’s second major update with a new zone, new boss encounters, various gameplay updates, and a holiday event.
The highlight of the update is the new Stormpoint zone which comes with its own questline, new monsters, new bosses and mini-bosses, and a “horde of crabs.” The new endgame zone is open to level 60 players who’ve completed the Starsign quest and reached at least Hell Difficuly III.
“Hoist up your courage, because you’re going to need it in Stormpoint, our first post-launch Zone. Players will sail to the salt-scrubbed prison island to investigate a sinister plot to harness the power of the largest Worldstone shard, which has overtaken the island.”
The update also unlocks Hell VI – VIII difficulties and opens up the new Voidwound Helliquary along with major changes to Helliquary Raids. Helliquary Raids can now be soloed regardless of the chosen Hell Difficulty although they’ll progressively be tougher to beat as you move up difficulty tiers.
Hell Difficulties are also now unlocked by defeating the corresponding Helliquary boss and players can now group up across Hell Difficulties I through IV. Dungeon difficulty, along with experience gains and loot, for mixed groups will scale with each member’s Hell Difficulty.
To help players reach higher Hell Difficulty tiers faster, with its new Server Paragon Level system. All Servers. All players below the Server Paragon Level (320 by default) will have their maximum experience rewards increased from 400% to 800%. They’ll also get a 250% boost to Legendary and Set item drop rates which will decrease as they gain Paragon Levels and get closer to the Server Paragon Level.
Lastly, players can also look forward to the game’s first Christmas event called Brumaltine which will run from December 14th to January 4th. During the event, players will be able to complete three daily quests to earn various in-game rewards.
