Diablo Immortal Kicks Off Season 4 Alongside The New ‘Inner Light’ Battle
It seems like only yesterday when Diablo Immortal first launched but now it’s kicked off its fourth season, granted that a season only runs for about three weeks or so. As with previous seasons, Season 4 comes with a new battle to complete as well as a new Helliquary boss to defeat.
The new Inner Light Battle features 40 ranks worth of unlockable rewards, including Legendary Gems, Hilts, Crests, and more. Those looking to score additional rewards also have the option to purchase either the Empowered Battle or the Collector’s Empowered Battle tracks.
Players also have the chance to earn more rewards by defeating not one but two Helliquary bosses in one fight. “Twin flames forged from the same inseparable, swirling chaos, Gishtur and Beledwe are the fourth Helliquary boss to threaten Sanctuary,” Blizzard said. “This malefic pair of hellspawn have a knack for crafting some of the most formidable weapons to have graced the battlefield, operating the Hellforge for the Great Evils or fusing souls and flesh in their own Fellsteel Foundry—reserving only the finest armaments for their own personal use.”
To take on Gishtur and Beledwe you’ll need to form a party of eight players with Combat Ratings of at least 4665. The new Helliquary instance will officially open its gates at 3 a.m. server time on September 2nd.
Players can also look forward to the start of the Hungering Moon event on September 9th, the Scorched Sea limited-time event on September 14th, and the Mysts of Cyrangar event on September 21st.
The full Season 4 patch notes and event details can be found on the Diablo Immortal official site.
