Diablo 4’s Weekend Open Beta Was The Biggest In Franchise History
Last weekend was a big one for both Diablo 4 fans and public testing. According to a recently released infographic, testers accrued a whopping 61,560, 437 hours of playtime, setting the record for the biggest beta test in the Diablo franchise’s history.
The infographic also touted 29 billion monsters of Lilith’s minions slain and 46 million player deaths. Butcher was successfully defeated by 576,662 players while the world boss Ashava was killed 107,426 times but managed to send 107,426 to their deaths. Roughly 2.6 million players managed to reach level 20 during the beta test, earning them the exclusive beta wolf pack cosmetic.
Meanwhile, Diablo 4 is still on track for release on June 6th. Hopefully, minus the long queues and all the connection and performance issues that plagued both weekend open beta tests.
With 62M hours played, thank you for making #DiabloIV the largest Beta in Diablo franchise history.
This is just the beginning. Hell welcomes all on 6.6.23.
