Black Desert Mobile Adds A New Fairy Companion And Limited-Time PvP Event
mobile MMORPG’s latest update. The highlight of the update is a new fairy companion that grants players bonuses to attack and defense stats.
The fairy starts as an adorable Fuzzy Baby Fairy that players can acquire from Fairy Land (Cradle of Fairy Kind) by completing a quest. They’ll then have to nurture and take care of the wittle baby faiwy until she blossoms into an adult with unique characteristics. To do this, you’ll need to build a house for your little bundle of joy where you can bond with her by performing various activities together such as talking, meditating, dancing, and singing. These activities will reward you with Twinkles that you can use to Blossom your fairy into an adult. Your conversation choices will also affect your fairy’s traits.
Once you’ve collected 1,000 Twinkles you can then attempt to blossom your fairy. This is a hit or miss affair but the more times you fail, the better your chance at a successful blossoming. Blossoming will increase your fairy’s skills slots and her max Trait and can also be used on adult fairies.
Aside from granting bonus stats, adult fairies can also be sent on adventures that take a set amount of real-world time to complete for various rewards. You can also give adult fairies gifts to increase their Intellect which can then be used to learn, equip, and upgrade their skills.
In addition to the new fairy system, the latest update also kicks off the limited-time Battlefield of the Sun: Sandcastle Shore-down event. The new event pits two teams of 15 players against each other in a fight for domination between Team Otter and Team Papu.
Players start off in their basic form and will be able to choose one of three paths upon entering the battlefield to become a Warrior, Wizard, or Priest. They’ll revert to their basic form when they respawn and will again need to choose one of the three paths. The team with the most contribution points earned by killing enemies or destroying sandcastles during the 5-minute match wins.
