Amazon’s Battle Royale Shooter Crucible Launches On May 20, Game Modes Revealed In New Video

in May. Well, it’s now the first week of May and the studio has just dropped a definite date for the PvPvE shooter’s release along with a new video that shows off the three available game modes: Heart of the Hives, Alpha Hunters, and Harvester Command.

“Crucible is a free-to-play team-based PvP action shooter driven by the choices you make—and it's launching on Steam on May 20! In each match in Crucible, you'll work alongside fellow hunters to take on the opposition, complete objectives, and prove that you've got what it takes to emerge victorious.”

In Heart of the Hives, two teams of four players race against each other to kill massive bosses and collect their hearts. Alpha Hunters will have eight two-player teams battling to be the last team standing. And finally, Harvester Command which pits two eight-player teams against each other in a domination-style match for control of Essence Harvesters.
