League of Legends 

All-Star Barcelona 2016

The All-Star Event is held by Riot Games every year in different places around the world. As opposed to Worlds, the All-Star event is not meant to be competitive but has regional matches, fun game modes, and a 1v1 tournament. This year the games take place in Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona from December 8-11th. The players are divided into two teams: Team Fire, which includes the LCK, NA LCS, and IWC All-Stars; and Team Ice, which includes EU LCS, LMS, and LPL All-Stars. The Fun Game Modes include Marksmen, Poro King, One for All, Assassins, Tandem, and All-Stars.

Esports Championship Series Season 2

The ECS, or Esports Championship Series, is in its second season. Ten teams from both Europe and North America are in a round robin and playing against each other in two best-of-one series. The regional stage lasts from October 7th to November 13th. The top four teams advance to the Season 2 Finals while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Season 3 Promotion.

The Season Two Finals take place from December 9-11th at the Anaheim Arena in California. As the largest CS:GO event ever in Southern California, the top four teams from NA and EU will be competing for over $750,000.

ELEAGUE Season 2

ELEAGUE was the first CS:GO league to be streamed on broadcast television and has just started its second season. With a $1,100,000 USD prize pool, the league goes from October 21st to December 3rd.

DreamHack Winter 2016

DreamHack Winter 2016 took place from November 24-26 in Jönköping, Sweden. With $100,000 USD on the line, eight different teams competed in a double elimination group stage and a single elimination Playoffs.

With GODSENT, Gambit Gaming, Renegades, and Team Kinguin out of the Group Stages, Gambit was able to advance to the Finals by beating GODSENT 2-1. In the Finals, Gambit beat the Renegades 2-0 by winning 16-12 in Nuke and 16-10 in Cobblestone to win $50,000 USD.

Dota2 Professional League Season 2

The Dota2 Professional League is China's first large-scale individual eSports league. There are two leagues: the Top League and Secondary League, with ten teams in each. Each team plays in a best-of-two Round Robin. With a prize pool of $900,000 USD, the tournament runs from September 19th to December 31st.

ASUS ROG DreamLeague Season 6

DreamLeague Season 6 is a major Dota 2 tournament featuring four teams. Playing for $185,000 USD, the four teams from League Play qualify for the finals in a double elimination best-of-three bracket leading to a best-of-five Grand Final.

Team Liquid had a perfect run beating The Imperial in the Semifinals 2-0 and Alliance 2-0 in the Winners' Finals. In the Grand Finals, Team Liquid beat Escape Gaming 3-0 to take the whole tournament for $90,000 USD.

Overwatch

 Overwatch APEX Season 1

Overwatch APEX is Overwatch's first major tournament in Korea. With about $178,000 USD on the line, 16 teams from around the world will compete from October 7th to December 3rd. The format involves a Round Robin where all matches are best-of-five with the top two teams advancing to the Playoffs. The Playoffs have best-of-five Quarterfinals and Semifinals and a best-of-seven Final.
