Valiance Online, considered a spiritual successor to City of Heroes, is an superhero MMORPG in a world where mankind has discovered how to harness and utilize magical energy to the point where science and magic are indistinguishable, allowing anyone to attain superpowers. Set in the city of San Cielo, players choose their paths towards righteousness, evil, or somewhere in between, freely making their mark on the world with their decisions and actions. The game emphasizes a persistent, evolving world that molds to the decisions of its community. Play as one of twelve character archetypes to determine your character's roles in the game, then customize their powers to create entirely unique heroes with access to a broad range of abilities. Partake in solo questing, group dungeons and raids, duels, arenas, and battlegrounds in both cooperative and competitive styles of gameplay.
