Starborne Overview
Build a massive space empire, forge alliances, and eliminate the competition in the 3D sci-fi MMORTS, Starborne. Start with a single space station and slowly expand your fledgling space empire by gathering resources from space debris, planets and stars, or raiding NPCs and other players to plunder their stockpiles. Build fleets of various types and sizes of spacecraft including Corvettes, Destroyers, and Carriers for raiding and attacking, Scouts and Recon craft to explore, and Industrial ships and Troop Carriers for transport. Construct modules, outposts, and additional space stations to expand your borders and influence and gain access to more resources. Use your Eliminate anyone who stands in your way or use your diplomatic skills to make friends and form alliances. Alliances and coalitions, political maneuvering, and backstabbing play a big part in the game and learning when to make peace and when to wage war will help you in your quest for ultimate domination.

Development History / Background:
Starborne is a free-to-play 3D sci-fi MMORTS developed and published by Icelandic indie studio Solid Clouds. Solid Clouds was founded by former EVE Online Lead Concept Designer Ásgeir Ásgeirsson and former EVE Online Art Director Hrafnkell Óskarsson. Starborne started Alpha tests in 2015 and launched into open beta on April 2, 2020.
