Pirate King Online Overview
Pirate King Online is a top-down 3D MMORPG set in a world brimming with swashbuckling pirates and ferocious but colorful monsters. Start your journey by choosing one of four distinctly designed characters, who determine what classes will be available to you. Then choose one of three starting areas. Level up by old-school grinding, slaying countless enemies, and choose your class at level 10. Then, advance your job into a higher-tiered class at level 40. Travel a flooded world with multiple islands connected by teleportation portals, or sail between islands aboard your own vessel. Upgrade your ship, customizing its stats, and increase its combat power to brave the treacherous waters where danger lurks just under the surface. Participate in regularly held monthly events for a chance to win unique prizes, and meet new people from the community.

Development History / Background:
Pirate King Online is a private server edition of the shut down Tales of Pirates II, which was initially developed by MOLI, a Shanghai-based game developer, and published by IGG, a Singapore-based publisher of free-to-play MMOs. Tales of Pirates II shut down on February 29, 2016. ServerDev made their intentions clear to rerelease Tales of Pirates under their name in July 2016. Pirate King Online was released on July 29, 2016.
