Development History / Background:
Piercing Blow was developed by South Korean based game developer Zepetto. The game is known as Point Blank in its home country and was launched as Project Blackout in other countries. Zepetto hosts a world-wide tournament called the Point Blank International Championship whenever they can, with the last tournament being held in Russia in 2014. Piercing Blow used to be available in North America through SG Interactive, but after it shut down, Zepetto, the game's developer, picked up the game's service as of February 2014. Despite only moderate success in North America and Europe, Piercing Blow, called Point Blank in Korea, has enjoyed success in its home market, as the game has been in operation for over 7 years. Piercing Blow was released on the Steam platform on November 10, 2015.
