Krosmaster Arena Overview
Krosmaster Arena is an online board game inspired by a Kickstarter board game of the same name. Drawing on The World of Twelve from Ankama Games' DOFUS and WAKFU, Krosmaster Arena tasks players with creating a team of figuring heroes and defeating their opponents. Each characters boasts unique skills to be employed tactically to gain the upper hand. There are over 100 charming figurines to collect. Play arena matches to earn in-game currency (Kroz) and unlock Krosboxes containing Krosmasters (heroes). Choose between 4 game modes to test your skills: campaign mode, single-battle between friends, a tournament, or dungeon mode. Use the environment to your advantage and maneuver strategically to climb the ranks and solidify yourself as a tactician in Krosmaster Arena.

Development History / Background:
Krosmaster Arena is developed by French games studio Ankama Games. The game began as a Kickstarter project for a board game inspired by Ankama Games' DOFUS and WAKFU, by Japanime Games—reaching its funding goal in less than 24 hours. Ankama went on to develop the game's online counterpart, featuring similar gameplay mechanics. It entered Beta testing on April 15, 2015 followed by a release on Novemeber 05, 2015. On December 3, 2018 the game servers were moved to Board Game Arena, a browser based platform that offers 175+ digital board games.
