Empyrion - Galactic Survival Overview
Empyrion - Galactic Survival is a 3D open world sandbox survival adventure with optional multiplayer servers for an MMO experience. Build mighty ships from scratch and construct space stations, settlements, and more as you explore the universe and conquer its planets. Fight human, alien, and biological hazards to survive in a hostile galaxy full of hidden dangers. The game combines elements from space simulation, building, survival, and FPS genres to offer a unique experience that can be played solo or with friends. Roam freely by warping between planets, flying to moons, and exploring each planet with a variety of vehicles that are constructed from mined materials. The game offers a Survival Mode and a Creative Mode, allowing players to focus on surviving in a hostile environment or letting their imagination run free with no limitations. Craft equipment, vehicles, and settlements with the game's robust crafting system, utilizing gathered and mined resources found in the deeper parts of planets.

Empyrion - Galactic Survival is developed and published by Eleon Game Studios, founded in 2013 to create Empyrion with over 10 years of industry experience across its employees. The game was created with an intention to combine the gameplay of popular survival games with the creativity of Minecraft and its building and design elements. The game was released through Steam Early Access on August 5, 2015 and its developers cited that it would stay in Early Access for at least a year. The game was initially available for $9.99, its price increasing as more content is made available. Upon its release, the game will be buy-to-play.
