Darkwind: War on Wheels Overview
Darkwind: War on Wheels is a free-to-play turn-based 3D vehicle combat MMORPG set in a Mad Max-inspired world that pits player gangs against each other in dangerous deathraces, tournaments, and wilderness scouting events. Combining action-packed–turn-based gameplay with realistic car physics, the game is a unique experience that requires strategic decisions to control speed, steering, and gun fire for multiple vehicles. Partake in the game's events using the 3D client and manage your cars, crew, camps, and more using the game website, splitting the game into both browser and 3D-based play. Trade for parts, cars, and weapons in the marketplace or send your characters to the hospital to recover from temporary injuries. Many of the mechanics err on the hardcore side, as the game's recruitable characters can become permanently injured, age, and die, while cars can be permanently destroyed.
