Boundless Overview
The world is your oyster in Boundless, a MMO sandbox game with hundreds of worlds (both procedurally generated and player-created) all on large public servers. Players can create unique characters from a variety of races. Become a builder, gathering resources and making blocks to craft objects, buildings, and even worlds. Be an explorer, discovering biomes such as complex cave systems and sky islands with distinct weather patterns. Equip weapons to hunt creatures big and small for rewards. Make your role whatever you desire, from running a zoo of exotic animals to being a successful entrepreneur. Adventure through Boundless as a lone wolf or a guild to achieve large-scale projects. Host games with just friends on a separate private server.

Development History / Background:
Boundless is a sandbox game developed and published by Wonderstruck, a gaming company based in Guildford, UK. The game was first known as Oort Online until it was renamed in October 2015 to Boundless. It is created on a game engine developed by Turbulenz, a UK-based video game developer that is a peer studio of Wonderstruck. Boundless was posted on Steam's Greenlight Community in August 2014 and approved within 5 days. A pre-alpha early access version was then released via Steam for $35, with plans for a "1.0" version released in 2016. Development for a 1.0 framework were pushed back to 2017, with plans for a release on the PS4 platform alongside a PC and Mac version.
