Development History / Background:
Korean studio Pearl Abyss first revealed the existence of a Black Desert Mobile project at the 2017 Taipei Game Show in January by Game Director Daeil Kim during an interview. He also promised that the mobile version would have very different gameplay. On August 15, 2015 the first official announcement trailer went live along with an official site for the game.
Black Desert Mobile launched globally in English on December 11, 2019.
