Uber Entertainment was founded in 2009 by a veteran team of programmers who previously worked on popular titles. The company released its first game, Monday Night Combat, in 2010, which was well-received by critics and the gaming community. In 2012, the company started a Kickstarter campaign to develop their real-time strategy game Planetary Annihilation. The successful crowdfunding campaign was able to produce over $2.2 million in funds with a promise that the game would be released by the end of 2013. Unfortunately, they were not able to fulfill their promise when the game’s launch was postponed to September, 2014. In October, 2014 Uber Entertainment once again started a Kickstarter campaign for their RTS game Human Resources, but was cancelled due to a worry that the project would fail to secure the required funds.
