Founded in 2009 by Gabi Shalel and Avi Shalel, Plarium Global Ltd. is currently based in Petah-Tikwa, Israel and currently employs more than 1000 game industry professionals spread across a number of development studios based in Israel, Ukraine, and Crimea. They are known for developing popular browser, social, and mobile games including Stormfall: Age of War and Soldiers, Inc, which was named by Facebook as one of the 10 Best New Games of 2013. Plarium self-publishes all of their own titles and has a large global following. They were acquired by the Australian gaming giant Aristocrat in late 2017.
