GamersFirst is the publishing and distribution branch of the company, K2 Network. Although K2 Network originally published games through its own name, it now only uses GamersFirst as a portal service website.

GamersFirst was first created in order to localize and service Korean developed games for a western audience. As more and more Korean games were used, K2 Network eventually decided to use GamersFirst fully to publish all their games. GamersFirst uses a universal currency throughout all their games known as G1 Credits. These credits are used for in-game purchases, as GamerFirst uses the freemium free-to-play model. GamersFirst was one the first publishers to convert games from pay to play to free to play as they are best known for relaunching APB and FallenEarth as free to play titles.
