Changyou was originally a part of the much larger Chinese internet company, Sohu. In 2009, Changyou was spun off from Sohu to focus entirely on online gaming. The company is best known for publishing Tian Long Ba Bu, called TLBB for short, in China, which boasts numerous awards and accolades such as "Most Liked Online Game" for five consecutive years. Changyou.com also owns the popular browser game developer 7Road. In 2014, Changyou invested a record-breaking $600 million in mobile game development, hinting a strong interest in broadening their horizons. However, even this interest seems to be limited within the Asian region, with no moves to branch outwards being reported. Changyou is currently listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange, ticker symbol: CYOU.
