Wurm Unlimited Available For Pre-Order, Price Revealed
Wurm Unlimited has been made available for pre-order ahead of its October 21st release date. These pre-orders will be available exclusively through DLGamer, but will be Steam activated.
As would be expected, the price has been revealed with the opening of pre-orders. Wurm Unlimited will cost $29.99 at launch—about three months of play time in the online game. A 10% discount will be provided at launch. Similarly, the game can be pre-ordered at a 20% discount through DLGamer if purchased before launch, bringing the price down to $23.99.
Bear in mind that Wurm Unlimited is a standalone version of the MMORPG. Players can host their own worlds and take advantage of everything that the MMORPG contained. The community won't be quite the same, and it remains to be seen whether it will be kept at feature parity with the MMORPG, but it is very much the same game under a different business model. As of right now, that $23.99 is looking to be a steal—especially considering you no longer have to take part in the land rush.
