Wrath Of The Lich King Classic Boosts Dungeon Rewards With New Faction-Specific Events
Cataclysm Classic may be looming on the horizon, but Wrath of the Lich King Classic isn’t going quietly into the night just yet. Blizzard has just rolled out the Operation Gnomeregan and Zalazane’s Fall events, boosting dungeon rewards for Alliance and Horde players, respectively.
“Get increased dungeon drops in Wrath of the Lich King Classic and take part in the UPrising of gnomes and trolls as they work to reclaim their homelands,” Blizzard announced. “Alliance players will heed the call of High Tinker Mekkatorque in Operation Gnomeregan and of the Horde will be called to Vol’jin’s side as he set his sights on Zalazane and the Echo Isles.”
The new events should keep players busy for a while as Blizzard puts the finishing touches on the next aging expansion in line to launch on the World of Warcraft Classic servers.
Meanwhile, Blizzard has begun testing World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s fourth PvP season on the public test server in preparation for its release sometime this spring. Season 4 will bring a new dungeon rotation, plenty of new rewards, improvements to dungeon progression, and a hard mode for Patch 10.2.6’s Dawn of the Infinite dungeon.
The studio will also be dropping a new collection of Trading Post cosmetics in a few short days, which you can check out in the video below.
