World Of Warcraft Classic Officially Adds The Self-Found Mode Option To Hardcore Realms

World of Warcraft Classic’s Hardcore Realms now give players the option to make their permadeath runs significantly more challenging as its new Self-Found Mode officially goes live.

The new mode forces players to rely entirely on loot drops and NPCs for all their items and gear. “While in this mode, players will be restricted from sending or receiving mail from other players, buying, or selling on the auction house, or trading in any way (including giving or receiving items or enchantments),” Blizzard explains.

The option to turn Self-Found Mode on will be available right from the character screen and will remain active until the player dies or chooses to toggle it off at any point during their hardcore journey through Azeroth. Turning it off, however, will permanently disable it for the remainder of the run.

You won’t get additional rewards for the self-inflicted restrictions, but you’ll definitely earn bragging rights. You can learn more about the optional new mode on the World of Warcraft official site.
