Wild Terra Is Getting Safe Zones, Procedural World Generation, And More
The developers behind Wild Terra have temporarily shifted their focus. They are doubling doubling down on server development. Several planned features require major changes to the server application and they have decided that the best course of action is to focus on it exclusively until they are implemented.
The first of these new features is an overhaul of the in-game map. As you can see from this image, maps are going to be far larger than they were initially. They will also be procedurally generated, each server containing its own unique vistas and points of interest.
In the future, the changes made to the server will allow even more long-awaited features to be introduced. Private and public dungeons are planned. Public mines where players fight over resources will eventually give more meaning to PvP. Clans, clan territory permissions, and even clan castles will allow for more purposeful alliances. Players will be able to own mounts, like the horses above.
The new server software is set to go into testing either later this month or sometime in February.
