Wayfinder Rolls Out Delayed Inventory Update And Teases New Mercenary
Since Wayfinder launched into early access last month, its developer, Airship Syndicate, has been working hard to polish the delayed for more testing.
Upon logging in, players will find that their inventories now have a limit placed on the number of accessories and echoes that they can carry. The cap was placed to lessen the load on the servers in an effort to reduce lag and improve the overall performance of the game.
The update also introduced the new Echo Dust feature, boosted XP gains from hunts and mini-bosses, along with fixes for two-handed weapon skins and game crashes that have been plaguing the game since its early access launch. You can check out the full patch notes here.
Meanwhile, Airship Syndicate teased a new playable character coming to the game named Grendel, a feral giant who wields a massive two-handed sword and is perfectly capable of pulverizing anyone or anything in his way. He’ll instantly be unlocked for players who purchase the Founder’s Season 2 .
Stand aside, nothing can stop the mercenary Grendel from going on a rampage!
