Wayfinder Launches Into Early Access For Founder’s Pack Owners On August 15

August is shaping up to be a big month for MMOs with multiple game releases, beta tests, and expansions scheduled throughout the month including the early access launch of Airship Syndicate’s action MMORPG, Wayfinder. The game is set to launch on August 15th on PC and PlayStation and will initially be open exclusively to founder’s pack owners.

Wayfinder will be launching as a free-to-play game later this year, but if you want to jump in ahead of the pack, you’ll have to pony up some cash for one of four founder’s packs which start at $20 for the Base Pack, all the way up to $150 for the Exalted Pack. All packs include free access to a non-expiring battle called the Reward Tower. Higher packs will also get the Season 2 Reward Tower for free.

As we previously mentioned, the reward track will remain available for the foreseeable future, giving founder’s pack owners all the time in the world to unlock its accompanying rewards which will include character unlocks, weapon skills, housing decorations, and pets. Succeeding seasons will offer both free and paid reward tracks but will have fewer rewards on offer.

Wayfinder’s early access launch will also mark the arrival of a new playable ranged character named Venomess who’ll either need to be earned or purchased to unlock. The trio of videos below offers more information on the early access launch, founder’s packs, and the new hero. Enjoy!
