Warframe Ushers In A New Story Arc As Whispers In The Walls Update Arrives
A new chapter begins in Whispers in the Walls update ninja-slides its way to the live servers. The update sends players back to investigate a subterranean laboratory in the desolate planet of Deimos to uncover clues left behind by the renowned Orokin scientist, Albrecht Entrati, and the enigmatic Man in the Walls.
The update also introduces cross-platform save functionality for selected players, the new Sanctum Anatomica player hub, the new Alchemy and Netracells mission types, a new enemy faction called the Murmur, the Grimoire weapon line, and the game’s 55th Warframe, Qorvex.
“Embody a brutalist frame built from multi-layered concrete to keep deadly radiation damage contained. Manifest a liminal hallway trap and bring its weighty walls crashing into a line of enemies. Construct fusion reactor pillars with damaging pulses that can quicken with kinetic strikes and release pent up radiation in a devastating, blistering unibeam to finish off the strongest of foes.”
Digital Extremes will also be kicking off Warframe’s first cross-platform clan operation, dubbed Gargoyle’s Cry, on December 18. In the meantime, there’s a flashy new trailer waiting for you below.
